New cast members and comments from thefall 2022 anime"Censorman," which will begin airing on Tuesday, October 11,have been revealed.

The TV anime, produced by MAPPA, is a dark hero action series in which the main character, Denji, becomes a "Chainsaw Man" by having a demon in his heart and fights as a public security devil hunter. The TV anime, produced by MAPPA, features a weekly ED song by Aimer and other artists.

The TV anime will start airing on October 11 (Tue) from 24:00 on TV Tokyo and other stations. The cast of the "demons" and enemy characters, which have been the focus of much fan attention, has now been announced.

The "Angel Demon" will be played by Marei Uchida, the "Shark Demon" by Natsuki Hanae, the "Demon of Violence" by Yuya Uchida, the "Spider Demon" by Saori Goto, the "Sawatari Akane" by Akiha Daichi, and the "Samurai Sword" by Hiroki Hamano.

I am honored to be involved in my favorite work, which I used to read while imagining what it would sound like if it were made into an anime. At the audition, I put forward the plan that I had been thinking "I want to see this kind of playful character in the anime," and I was able to do just that. Samurai Sword is a powerful enemy in the early stages of the game, yet has a goofy quality that makes him somewhat unlikeable.

<Introduction
Denji is a boy who lives as a devil hunter with Pochita, a "chainsaw demon.
While living a life of poverty to repay debts left behind by his parents, he is betrayed and killed. In his fading consciousness, Denji makes a contract with Pochita and revives as "Chainsaw Man," the one with the heart of a demon.
