The second episode of thefall 2022 anime"Blue Rock" has been released with a synopsis and preceding scene cuts.

Based on a soccer manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (original story by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, manga by Yusuke Nomura), it won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Juvenile Division. It depicts high school students fighting for survival in the Blue Rock (blue prison) project to create "egoists" who will become the world's best strikers. The cast includes Ura Kazuki, Matsuoka Teijo, Kamiya Hiroshi, and other famous voice actors, and the animation is produced by Eight Bit.

The TV anime airs every Saturday night from 1:30 pm on the "NUMAnimation slot" on the TV Asahi network nationwide. The synopsis of the second episode and advance scene cuts have been released.

The synopsis and advance cuts of the second episode are as follows.
Episode 2 "Kaibutsu
The mysterious Jinpachi Eshin's "Blue Rock (Blue Prison)" project to create the world's best striker.
The top five players in the ranking who survive and kick out their rivals will be registered as FW players for the U-20 World Cup to be held six months later, but those who drop out will lose the right to represent Japan for the rest of their lives. What kind of egoism does Eshin seek in a striker?
Kiyoshi and his teammates are determined to survive the battle in the "Blue Rock (Blue Prison)" and proceed to the first round of selection, a new test for the rest of their soccer careers.
