～The Maserati Merak SS '80 is a high-performance version of the Merak that has been sharpened by an engine tune.

The Maserati Merak is Maserati's mid-ship sports car introduced in 1972.

It was developed as a sister model to the Bora, which debuted about a year earlier.

The styling, which Giugiaro continued to work on, is basically the same as that of the "Bora.

However, unlike the "Bora," which was considered a fastback style car, the rear of the "Bora" was a notch back with fastback-style rear pillars, which gave the car a light feeling while maintaining its silhouette, and also improved the heat dissipation effect of the engine.

The maximum output of 160 PS and maximum torque of 18 kgfm remain the same, and the front struts and rear semi-trailing arms are the same as those of the previous generation, but the brakes have evolved to four-wheel discs.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 was developed by Nismo based on the R35 Nissan GT-R, a production racing car that meets FIA GT3 regulations.
