WOWOW original anime "The King of Fire Hunting" by Junji Nishimura and Mamoru Oshii, teaser PV of the first anime footage is released!

A teaser PV from the WOWOW original anime "The King of Fire Hunting" has been released for the first time as an anime video.

The Fire-Hunting King" is a full-length fantasy novel written by Rieko Hinata, known for "Amefuru Honya" and other works. With the theme of "fire," the story depicts children living in a world after the final human war, and how they face many difficulties while trying their best to survive.
The anime adaptation will be broadcast on WOWOW and will be directed by Junji Nishimura, director of "SAMURAI DEEPER KYO" and "Today, Ma-O! and "Ghost in the Shell" and "The Sky Crawlers" director Mamoru Oshii is in charge of the composition and script. Animation production is handled by Signal M.D., which also produced "Fate/Grand Order the Movie -Camelot in the Realm of the Sacred Round Table- Part 1 Wandering; Agateram".

<Synopsis
The world after the final war of mankind.
The land is covered by a black forest where fire demons roam, and people are living in a small way in a land protected by a ward.

When a natural fire burns nearby, the people of this era ignite from within and burst into flames.
The only fire that is safe for human use in this world comes from fire demons that live in the forests.
Among fire hunters, who hunt fire for a living, there is a rumor.
A man-made star, the Shaking Fire, which was launched before the Last War and has been wandering in the void for a long time, is coming back.

Born in a village of papermakers, Touko was saved by a fire hunter when she entered a forbidden forest and was attacked by a fire demon.
Born in the capital, Kohshi lost his mother to factory poisoning, and with a young sister in tow, he decides to take refuge in the "House of Embers".
