The film was released in November 2021 to commemorate Sumikko Gurashi's 10th anniversary. Sumikko Gurashi: The Blue Moonlight Magician" will be screened again at 79 Aeon Cinemas nationwide as part of the "PRE-TIKE" project, a project to give form to fans' wishes to see the masterpiece on the screen once again. The film will be shown at 79 Aeon Cinemas nationwide for one week from November 3 (Thursday, national holiday).

Tickets will be sold at each theater for 1,600 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for university students and younger. Whether you have already seen the movie or not, take this opportunity to enjoy the moving story.

＜Synopsis
One autumn day, Sumiko and her friends go camping.
When they look up at the sky, they see a bigger and bluer moon than usual.
It is the night of the big blue full moon that comes once every five years. Wizards come to town and make dreams come true.
As legend has it, five siblings of wizards descend on Sumiko and her friends' town!
In the park, in the supermarket, and in the forest. One after another, magic is cast on the town, and the glittering town looks like a party place.
Soon the fun night is coming to an end and the wizards are returning to the moon. And there, for some reason...Tapioka is there!
Tapioka is mistakenly taken away by the magician "Fuibu," and...?
