According to an announcement on the official website of the "Golden Kamui" anime, " One of the main staff members (editor's note: name withheld) of the fourth season of the TV anime 'Golden Kamui' passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

New broadcast and distribution dates, as well as Blu-ray & DVD release dates, will be announced as soon as details are finalized.

The staff members who passed away were " main staff members who were indispensable to the production of the work.It was announced that "theGolden Kamuy Production Committee and Brains Basehave discussed how to handle future broadcasts, and havedecided to forgo the broadcast and distribution of episodes 43 to 49".
