Akihabara Nigiwai Hiroba 2022, an outdoor event where visitors can experience the contents of stores, products, goods, and services in Akihabara, will be held for three days from November 18 (Fri.) to 20 (Sun.).

Akihabara Nigiwai Hiroba" is an outdoor event where visitors can experience the contents of stores, products, goods, and services in Akihabara. At the second venue, Akihabara Park, there will be events such as an e-sports exchange and a VR event to experience the city of Akihabara.

In addition, there will be a "Free Akihabara Tour," a free mini-tour of Akihabara that will be available in both English and Japanese for non-Japanese visitors. The mini-tours will be offered three times a day, each time for five people (first-come, first-served).

The outline of each event is as follows

(1) Public lecture and entertainment performance event

Date and time: November 18 (Fri.) Doors open at 15:30, Concert begins at 16:00
Venue: Entus (5th floor of the main building of Onoden)
Admission: Free

(2) Event to experience the city of Akihabara through interaction by e-sports and VR

Dates: November 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun)
Opening hours: Doors open at 12:00, close at 17:00 (16:00 on November 20)
Opening Ceremony: Saturday, 19th, 11:50 a.m.
Venue: Akihabara Park

(3) Free city walking mini-tour in Japanese and English for foreigners

(EV Tuk Tuk VR test-ride event will be held at the same time)
Date November 19 (Sat.) - November 20 (Sun.) 3 times/day
Meet at Akihabara Park "Akihabara Nigiwai Hiroba" Reception desk
(The reception desk for the EV Tuk Tuk VR experience is at the exhibition corner)
Tour course: Around JR Akihabara Station, approx. 30 min.
Fee: Free of charge (first-come-first-served basis if there are too many people)
