New video of the popular "Chirico" character from the free-to-play "Overwatch 2"!

A new video of the new hero "Chirico" from "Overwatch 2," released on October 5, is now available.

Overwatch 2" by Blizzard Entertainment is a team-based action shooter set in the bright near future. Compatible with Windows PC, Xbox, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, the game has surpassed 25 million players in its first 10 days of release.

This video, "Protector," is a short animation released exclusively in Japan that depicts the past under the theme of "What Chirico wants to protect. Chirico, the new hero from "Overwatch 2," is Japanese, so we wanted to bring her story to life through animation.

The short animation was supervised by Jeff Chamberlain, Chief Executive Officer and Creative Director of the Overwatch story and franchise development team, and was created in collaboration with the Overwatch brand team in Japan. It is produced by Japanese animation studio ENISHIYA Inc. in collaboration with the Overwatch brand team in the Japan office.

A message video from Ai Fayrouz, who will be dubbing Chirico in Japanese, is also available!
