Winter Anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" New Visual & PV Revealed! Daisuke Namikawa as Adam & Tatsuo Suzuki as Eve also commented!

New visuals and character PVs for the2023 winter anime"NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" have been released.

Based on the action RPG "NieR:Automata," which was released by Square Enix in 2017 and has sold more than 6.5 million units worldwide. In the far future, humanity has been defeated by the overwhelming power of machine life on the moon - "2B", a member of the android unit "Yoruha", throws himself into a fierce battle to retake the earth.
The anime "NieR: Automata Ver1.1a" will begin airing in January 2023.

The visual and PV depicting the mysterious special individuals, Adam and Eve, as well as cast information has been released.

As has been the case since the game, the visuals are beautiful! The character is both gorgeous and inorganic. So, I value the sense of weirdness and ambiguity that comes out of it. I hope that this leads to a certain sense of fear as well. While I hope that this indescribable atmosphere will continue forever, I also wonder what will happen if it breaks down? Will there ever come a time when it will be broken? In a way I am afraid of that too.... Please look forward to it.

Since I participated in the game, I was impressed by Eve's unique and interesting sensibility.
I am happy to be able to present Eve to you in a new form in the form of an anime adaptation, and above all, I am filled with personal joy at being able to play Eve again every time I stand in front of the microphone.
I am always striving to deliver to you a more refined version of Eve's character, which is different from that of the game. I hope you will love me and my siblings again!

<Introduction
The year is 5012 AD.
The human race is in danger of extinction due to the sudden arrival of "aliens" and the "mechanical life forms" they have created.
The few humans who escaped to the moon launched a counter-offensive using "android" soldiers in order to retake the earth.
However, the battle is stalemated by the endless proliferation of "mechanical life forms.
Humanity dispatches a squad of new androids, the "Yoruha," to Earth as a final weapon.
The newly dispatched <2B> joins up with the advance investigator <9S> and goes on a mission, but in the process, they encounter a number of unexplainable phenomena.

This is the story of a lifeless android who continues to fight for humanity.
