Shinjidai Akihabara Electric Town Exit Izakaya, scheduled to open on November 24, postponed its opening to next January 2023.

The izakaya "Shindai Akihabara Denkigai-guchi" was scheduled to open on Thursday, November 24, but its opening has been postponed until next January 2023. The location is along "Akihabara Station South Street. It is located along "Akihabara Station South Street," next to the "Isomaru Suisan Akihabara Store" izakaya. New Akihabara Center 1F.

Shinjidai is a chain of izakayas (Japanese style pubs) that operates mainly in Aichi Prefecture and currently has 107 stores nationwide. Originating from Aichi Prefecture, the chain offers a variety of menu items, including a specialty called "den-kushi" (50 yen per skewer [excluding tax]), which is made by brushing homemade sauce on chicken skin that has been trimmed of fat to make it crispy.

Originally scheduled to open on Saturday, November 12, the restaurant announced on Twitter on November 10 that the opening date would be postponed for 12 days, from November 12 to 24, and later announced on November 15 that the restaurant would not open before the end of the year. A sign posted on the storefront (as of November 24) reads, "Opening in January 2023.


In addition, "Densetsu no Kushi: Shindai Akihabara Honten" and "Shindai 44 Akihabara No. 2" are currently operating on the Showa-dori side of the street.
