New content featuring Toru Furuya and Masako Nozawa "Reading Aloud Series by Voice Actors" is now available on "coemo", a speaker for reading aloud to children! Distribution starts tomorrow!

As a new content for "coemo," a reading-aloud speaker that uses AI to create human-like coeses, the "reading-aloud series by voice actors" will be available in the "coemo app" from November 2022. It was announced that Toru Furuya and Masako Nozawa will appear in the first and second series, respectively.

By reading stories to children with the synthetic voice of a familiar person (=cohe), children are made to feel at ease, and family members can spend their time away from "reading books" to "enhancing communication such as skinship with children," making it an enjoyable experience for both children and adults. As new content for the "coemo" storytelling speaker, the "Storytelling by Voice Actors Series" (charged service: 800 yen (tax included) per episode) will be available in the "coemo app" (*2) from November 2022. The unique feature of "coemo" is that a popular voice actor's synthetic voice (i.e., "coe") calls out your name in the story.

The first story, "Gulliver's Travels" read by Toru Furuya, will be available on November 30 (Wed), and the second story, "Peter Pan" read by Masako Nozawa, will be available on December 23 (Fri).

The new "Read-Aloud by Voice Actors Series" content will be "read aloud by voice actors that draw you in," "call out your name with the synthesized voice of a popular voice actor (i.e., Koe)," "have the characters in the story talk to you or become the main character of the story," "read aloud with a realistic feeling by combining sound effects and background music," and more, so you can get absorbed in the story. Various devices are provided.

Since the launch of "coemo" in September 2022, the story that calls out your name (original story) has been particularly popular among the many contents, and was planned as a content that can further deepen communication between parents and children.

The storytelling and synthetic voice (=coemo) of Ms. Furuya and Mr. Nozawa, who have been active as voice actors for a long time and are loved by a wide range of generations, are likely to attract all generations and trigger conversations that transcend generational boundaries.

The reading of the story is performed by the real voices of Ms. Furuya and Mr. Nozawa, but the "coe" (synthetic voice) is used during the scene where they call your child's name.
(*) You can set up to five words as the name of the child, but there is no "function to freely generate sentences with the synthesized voice".

Many children are used to seeing images, so I wanted to make it easy for them to imagine the story by just hearing the voices and to see the images in their minds.
I tried to create characters with different personalities and a slightly exaggerated voice so that the images of the characters would come to mind. That was the point I put the most effort into. I thought that children who have grown up listening to the reading would be enriched by it.
Also, I thought it would be great if the children could speak to the story by their own names, as it would make them very happy and make it easier for them to get into the story. To be honest, I felt that not only children but also my fans who are currently supporting me would really like this. I myself would be happy if there were readings of my works that my fans would like to hear.

I love reading to children and always want to read to little children. I can see the children's eyes sparkle as they listen to me, so I put my heart and soul into this recording as well.
