SQUANI "Engage Kill" PV and 8 characters now open for pre-registration! Fumiaki Marudo & Tsunako's New Project

Pre-registration for "Engage Kill," a new smartphone game from Square Enix, has started, and the PV and characters have been revealed.

Engage Kill" is an animated timeline battle RPG scheduled to begin service in the spring of 2023, and is one of the new projects by Fumiaki Marudo of "Saekano" and Tsunako of "Date A Live", whose TV anime "Engage Kiss" has been broadcast since July 2022. It is one of the projects.

Pre-registration started today, December 8, on App Store and Google Play. A campaign is being held to give away gifts when the official service starts, depending on the number of registrations.

The first PV introduces the system with characters and actual game screens. The narration is by Shu Ogata (CV: Souma Saito), the main character from the TV anime "Engage Kiss," following the TV commercial that aired from July to September.

■PV Part 1

The stage is set in Baylon City - an independent city where many special incidents caused by "demons", called "D disasters", occur.
In order to stop as many tragedies as possible and solve the demon curse that he himself has suffered from, the main character establishes a private military company (PMC) and confronts the "D-Disaster" with his friends.

A Twitter campaign commemorating the release of the PV has also started. By following the official account (@EngageKill_PR) and retweeting the target post, 20 winners will be selected in a drawing to receive a "Gerabaru Pay" worth 1,000 yen.

■Introduction of 8 new characters!
The characters introduced here are original to this work. They are members of the "Vizzini Family" and "S.Y.U.N.," a PMC (private military company) that deals with the "D-Disaster" (Demon Disaster) that is occurring in "Baylon City," the stage of the game.

■Pre-registration Campaign
The number of registrations has now exceeded 100,000, and the in-game currency "Baylondor x100,000", which can be used to strengthen characters and purchase items, has already been decided as a present.
