'After Us' coming Spring 2023 on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S! Exploration adventure from the developers of the award-winning "Arise: A Simple Story"!

At The Game Awards, Private Division and PiccoloStudio announced the release of their new game "After Us". A trailer was also released.

From the developers of the award-winning "Arise: A Simple Story," the game will be released on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2023. As Gaia, the spirit of life, you will travel through an exploration adventure to bring hope once again to a post-humanity Earth.

Cross breathtaking worlds while saving the souls of extinct animals. Use the power of Gaia to fight the dangers that lurk on a desolate Earth.

Piccolo Studio's signature high-impact storytelling is combined with engaging exploration and adventure. Gaia jumps, glides, dashes, wall-rides, and swims to avoid potentially deadly obstacles and enemies.

Gaia, life incarnate, has the power to help regenerate and rebuild the earth. By bursting into light, Gaia grows new plants to pave the way for the journey.

Players experience 10 different biomes in After Us, a distinctly fantastical world created by the destructive acts of an unsuspecting society. From the last harpooned whale, to the last eagle trapped in a cage, to the last deer sacrificed to the hunt, learn the final fate of these precious creatures and free their souls.

Each new environment brings new challenges to Gaia and tells the story of the creatures' final moments. And then comes the moment of spectacular reincarnation - the moment when the creatures are reborn.
