Born on January 7, 1948, he was 74 years old.

According to the family's wishes, the wake and funeral were held only for the next of kin. A farewell party will be held at a later date after consulting with the bereaved family.

Ichiro Mizuki made his debut as a singer in 1968, singing the theme song for "Genshi Shonen Ryu" in 1971, as well as many anime songs such as "Mazinger Z" and "Captain Harlock" and special effects songs such as "Masked Rider" series, with over 1200 songs in his collection.
