Can You Become That Character in Akihabara?　CosPatio G-Store Akiba - A Shop Offering Official Cosplay [Shun Gori's Akiba Exploration Vol. 3

In the third installment of Shun Gori's Akiba Exploration, we visited the CosPatio G-Store Akiba store, just in time for the Winter Comic.

The CosPatio G-Store Akiba reopened on November 28, 2020 on the 4th floor of Onoden's main store, a 3-minute walk from Akihabara Station. The bright and open store interior makes it easy to enter for cosplay beginners and those who want to buy costumes of their favorite characters as official goods even if they do not cosplay.

The store's selection of costumes in the store are all officially licensed products. The lineup ranges from full-fledged costumes made of carefully selected materials and comfort, to costume sets that make it easy to enjoy cosplay with just one set, to parts that are difficult for beginners to reproduce, such as elf ears and ornaments, and makeup products recommended for cosplay as well.

Among such a wide selection of products, "COSPATIO" is one of the leading official costume brands in Japan, reproducing as much as possible the colors and shapes as in the setting of the work, and even calculating the pleats of the skirt and the placement of the fabric when worn to ensure that the same pattern as in the play is reproduced! The skirt is so meticulously made that the same pattern as in the play is reproduced. Because of the attention to detail, there are cosplayers as well as customers who buy costumes for their favorite characters as collectors' items.
