With its overwhelming strength, the McLaren Honda MP4/4 won 15 out of 16 races in the F1 season! 1/8th scale model of the legendary F1 machine "McLaren Honda MP4/4" is now available, recreating the legendary F1 car down to the inside!

De Agostini Japan will sell a limited number of 1/8th scale McLaren Honda MP4/4 on the official De Agostini website from December 13, 2022 (Tuesday).

The "McLaren Honda MP4/4," which won 15 out of 16 races in the F1 season with its overwhelming strength, was first released by De Agostini in 2012 as an assembly series and enjoyed great popularity.

The legendary car that won the F1 world championship in 1988 will be brought back to life again as a 1/8th scale model.
The magazine is not included in this series.

Elaborate reproduction of the exterior, internal structure, and even the coloring of the car
The mechanism of the ultimate machine that dominated F1 with overwhelming strength in 1988 has been elaborately reproduced down to the smallest detail. It has been reproduced. When the body cowl is removed, the rear structure and even the auxiliary equipment around the air intakes can be recreated in great detail.

Engine unit ●
The Honda RA168E engine unit features a turbocharger, front and rear auxiliaries, exhaust, and more, all with great attention to texture and detail.

Rear suspension
The rear suspension is detailed to look just like the real car, with each part having a different color and luster. Even the brake hoses attached to the upper arms have been created.

Side pontoons
The turbo ducts inside the side pontoons and air outlets on the body were set up differently depending on the course.

Rear wing and diffuser
The gurney flap of the Japanese GP specification and the diffuser seen from the tailbottom have been elaborately reproduced.

Cockpit

Shift knob, damper adjustment lever, racing harness, pedals and other details are also reproduced.

Nose and front wing
The front section can be removed even after completion. The front wing flap angle can be changed.

Removable model that allows you to appreciate the internal structure even after completion.

After completion, not only the body cowl can be removed, but also the wing, wheels, monocoque body, engine unit, and other internal structures can be removed. Not only the form of the most powerful machine, but also the inside of the machine can be viewed, which is normally not visible to the naked eye.

The steering wheel is removable, and the front tires are movable to match the steering wheel.

Engine unit
Wiring and piping connected to the body can also be detached.

Disc brakes
The wheels can be removed even after completion.
