As a new item of "KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection)," a figure brand based on the concept of "a new story you can hold in your hands," "Shin Evangelion the Movie" Asuka, Rei, and Mari Newtype Cover ver. will be released in August 2023, and will be available at Kadokawa Store, Ebiten, etc. starting today, December 13, 2022 (Tuesday). The price is 41,800 yen (including tax) for the regular edition and45,100 yen (including tax) for the Newtype special set.

This item is based on the "Shin Evangelion Theater Version" illustration by Atsushi Nishikori, the chief animation director, which graced the cover of the June 2021 issue of Monthly Newtype, and features a set of three figures of the heroines Asuka, Rei, and Mari.

The three girls are wearing the white plug suits that were so impressive in the movie, and are smiling at each other in a well-defined pose and coloring.

The Newtype Special Set is a limited edition with a special acrylic pedestal that allows you to recreate the cover of Newtype Monthly as a bonus.
