A teaser visual from the second season of the TV anime "Unemployed Tensei," "Unemployed Tensei II: Isekai Ika ni Toratte de Honkidasu," which is scheduled to air in 2023, has been released. It was also announced that Yumi Uchiyama will continue to play the role of Rudus, as she did in the first season.

A 34-year-old unemployed man who has been a recluse since an incident during his school days, was kicked out of his home by his family, and died in a car accident shortly thereafter. The story depicts his grand adventure and how he tries to live seriously this time with the knowledge and regrets from his previous life.

In the first season aired in 2009, the drama unfolded with various friends including Roxy, a master of magic, Sylphiette, a childhood friend, Eris, a ferocious young lady, and Ruijerd, a warrior of the Speld tribe, and their epic journey across countries from their peaceful birthplace to the harsh Devil's Continent. In the 23rd and final episode, Rudeus, who has been left all alone and withdrawn as in his previous life, is inspired to start walking again in order to find his mother Zenith, who went missing in the "Transference Incident.

The first visual depicts the main character, Ludeus Greylat, a 34-year-old unemployed recluse who was reincarnated after an accidental death, and has grown older than in the first season. He is wearing some kind of uniform. Behind him is a white-haired figure wearing a cloak... Expectations are high for the drama and adventure that will unfold in the second season.

The cast for the role of Rudeus, who is older than in the first season, has also been revealed, and Yumi Uchiyama will continue to play the role of Rudeus as in the first season.

The growth of Rudeus is the basis of the story of this work. While the production team was discussing the cast for the second season, which will be a major turning point in the growth of Rudeus from a child to an adult, an audition was held for Yumi Uchiyama, who showed a brilliant performance and sincere attitude as Rudeus in the first season, to play the role of Rudeus growing up to be a young man. As a result, the production team unanimously decided to continue the role of Rudeus.
