In the fourth installment of Shun Gori's Akiba Exploration, we visited BUSOU SHOTEN, which is famous as "Akihabara's arms shop.

Armed Shop is located facing Chuo-dori Avenue, an 8-minute walk from Akihabara Station and a 3-minute walk from Suehirocho Station. The store faces Chuo-dori, but the entrance is a bit confusing, so when you go there, look for the lanterns and signboards.

When you enter the store, the first thing that catches your eye is the "Dragon Slayer," a large sword used by Guts in "Berserk," which is famous for "It is too big to be called a sword! 　You will be overwhelmed by the size and workmanship of the sword, which is the store's signature.

The store has Japanese swords and other weapons (imitations) from around the world, including Western and Asian swords, and you will find all kinds of weapons that you are familiar with from anime and video games. Of course, since these are imitation swords, you do not need to report the purchase or possession to the police, but after purchasing a sword, do not open the package until you return home, and if you carry it with you, make sure to put it in a proper case or something similar. Don't forget to check with the owner or clerk when you purchase the item to make sure you are aware of all the details.
