Cross-dressing? More unusual than VR?　Akihabara Milky (Shun Gori's Exploration of Akiba, Vol. 5)

For the fifth installment of Shungori's Akiba Exploration, we visited Akihabara Milky.

Located near Kanda Myojin Otokozaka, a 5-minute walk from either Akihabara, Ochanomizu, or Suehirocho stations, Akihabara Milky is a store based on the concept of "transforming anyone into a cute girl through cross-dressing and cosplay. The entrance to the store is a bit confusing, so please make sure you do not miss the sign in the second floor window when you go there.

Upon entering the store, you will be overwhelmed by the small but tasteful studio and the number of costumes hanging around the store.

The store's menu includes a "One Makeover Course," an "Unlimited Makeover Course," in which you can rent the entire store for 180 minutes and wear all the costumes in the store, and an on-site service for those who have difficulty coming to the store or who prefer to have their first makeover at home. The manager, Hana-san, is a professional makeup artist, so she can consult with customers not only about women's cosplay, but also about men's cosplay makeup and cosplay costume coordination, so if you have any problems, why not consult with her?

The costumes in the store are large enough for even men to wear and are available in a variety of sizes. You can have a one-stop experience from professional make-up to costume coordination.

There is also a course that allows first-timers to enjoy cross-dressing casually after having their makeup done and costumes worn and having cute photos taken at the studio. It is definitely a memorable experience to take a stroll in Akihabara dressed as a woman, which is something you would not normally experience.

Shun Gori also wears cross-dressing makeup! Unfortunately, at the time of the interview, the shop was busy with other customers, so I was not able to experience it, but I will personally visit ...... one of these days.
