Netflix has announced its recommended anime lineup for January 2023.

January has a full lineup of exclusive releases from the beginning of the year, including "Kyokushudo Season 2," "Junji Ito's Maniac," "Valkyrie the Valkyrie of the End II.

There are also "REVENGER REVENGER," for which Gen Urobuchi is in charge of the original TV anime story for the first time in 10 years, "Spy Classroom," "The Angel Next Door Made Me No Good Before I Knew It," and the fourth season of "Danmachi," as well as many TV anime starting in January.

Kyokyu Shuhudo Michi Season 2
Exclusive distribution from January 1

Season 2 of the at-home chivalrous comedy depicting the daily life of a former Kyokudo "immortal dragon" who once left behind many legends in the underworld as a full-time househusband is already available exclusively on Netflix! Directed by Chiaki Kon, the director remains the same as in Season 1.
The well-known voice actors, including Kenjiro Tsuda as Ryu, Shizuka Ito as Ryu's wife Miku, and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Ryu's younger brother Masashi, passionately portray the characters with rich personalities.
In Season 2, even stronger characters such as Torajiro (CV/ Yoshimasa Hosoya), the younger sister of Ryu's rival Torajiro (CV/ Yoshimasa Hosoya), make their appearances, and the laughs just keep on getting stronger!

Junji Ito "Maniac

Twenty of the most popular works by Junji Ito, a genius who has led the Japanese horror manga world, including "Tomie," "Soichi," and "Hanging Balloon," have been adapted into anime. The series immerses viewers in Ito Junji's original worldview and fascinating characters, which are popular not only in Japan but around the world.

Raizo is a man who has been betrayed by something he believed in and has no place to return to. He is picked up by "REVENGER," a hitman who takes revenge on behalf of those without power.
The members of REVENGER usually run a "yorozu tsukubin jigyohiki" (a shop that takes care of anything and everything), and they use both their front and back faces. As Raizo spends time with these unique characters, a strange friendship begins to grow between him and them.
