Broadcast information, main visual, PV, and cast comments for the TV anime "Jigokuraku" have all been released.

Based on the popular manga series by Yuji Garai, "Jigokuraku" is serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (13 volumes) and has sold more than 4 million copies in total. Sentenced to death, the most powerful Shinobi, Gabaimaru, and other criminals land on a "mysterious island" infested with unknown creatures and fight for their survival with the help of a watchman, the "executioner of beheadings". MAPPA is in charge of animation production.

TV anime "Jigokuraku" will be broadcast from April 2023 on TV Tokyo affiliate and others, and distributed on Prime Video, NETFLIX, and Hikari TV.

The main cast will consist of Chiaki Kobayashi as the main character Gabaimaru, Yumiri Hanamori as Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, Ryohei Kimura as Asa Eulalia, Kensho Ono as Yamada Asaemon Kirima, Riyo Takahashi as Yuzuru, Toru Inada as Tamiya Gantetsusai, and Aoi Ichikawa as Yamada Asaemon Tsukichi, and comments have also been released.

Yamada Asaemon Sagiri: Yumiri Hanamori
My name is Yumiri Hanamori, and I will be playing the role of Sagiri Yamada Asaemon.
As the title suggests, "Jigokuraku" is a story of opposites and opposites, of two sides of the same coin, and of understanding the unknown self through understanding the other side.

＜Synopsis
The time is the end of the Edo period.
Gebaimaru, the former strongest Shinobi in Ishikakure, who was captured as a loose Ninja and became a mortal criminal, is sent to an island rumored to be the Paradise of the Pure Land,
He is told that he will be exonerated if he brings back "the elixir of immortality" from an island that is rumored to be the paradise of the dead.
In order to reunite with his beloved wife, Gabaimaru heads for the island where the elixir is said to be located, together with the beheading executioner "Yamada Asaemon Sagiri".
When they land on the island, they are confronted by a group of dead criminals who are also in search of the elixir.
They are also confronted by unknown creatures lurking on the island, artificial and eerie stone statues, and the Immortals who rule the island. ......
