The main character is Mitsunami Yamano, a petite girl with a childish face who is seen as a junior high school student even though she is 18 years old, and a loner without a soul. She has acquired the ability to travel between the present day and another world, and decides to save up 80,000 gold coins in preparation for her old age.

The TV anime "I will save 80,000 gold coins in another world to prepare for my old age" will start airing on January 7, 2023 (Saturday) at 26:00 on ABC TV and TV Asahi affiliate 24 stations nationwide in the "ANiMAZiNG! and other programs.
