The official website for the Japanese version of "SEGA Genesis Mini 2" is now open. The Japanese version of the manual is now available.

The "SEGA Genesis Mini 2" is a North American version of the "Mega Drive Mini 2" scheduled for release on October 27, 2022. The basic functions are identical to those of the "Mega Drive Mini 2," but the design of the console is based on the design for the overseas market at the time, and is partially different. The six-button control pad included in the package is also one size larger than the Japanese version, which was based on the overseas version of the time. An AC adapter for use in Japan will also be included.
The controller is compatible with the Japanese version.

The game will include a total of 60 titles, including some titles that differ from those on the Mega Drive Mini 2. Only Amazon.co.jp will handle the game in Japan.

In addition, a live broadcast "The Truth About SEGA Genesis Mini 2 ~LIKE A MEGA DRIVE MINI 2~" will be aired from 8:30 p.m. today, December 23 (Fri.) to celebrate the Japanese release of "SEGA Genesis Mini 2".
