Voice actor Yotomi Suzuki passed away at the age of 26 - a member of the voice actor unit "NOW ON AIR.

It was announced on the official website of his agency, Office PAC, that voice actor Hitomi Suzuki had passed away at the young age of 26.

According to the official website, she passed away on December 18, 2022 due to cancer, which she had been battling for some time. He was 26 years old.

Mr. Suzuki was one of the six successful applicants out of approximately 3,000 applicants in the first audition of the "Kimikoe Audition". She then began working as a member of "NOW ON AIR," a voice acting unit consisting of those who passed the audition. At the same time, she made her debut as a voice actor in the role of Biwakoji Otoha in the animated film "Kimi no Koe wo Todokeitai," in which the members of NOW ON AIR played major characters.

On January 22, 2021, Ms. Suzuki went on a hiatus for medical treatment, and at the time of the July 2, 2021 announcement of the voice acting unit NOW ON AIR's hiatus, she announced on Twitter that she was concentrating on treatment due to the discovery of a malignant tumor.


Suzuki finished her recuperation on December 9, 2021, but her cancer recurred and she passed away from cancer on December 18, 2022.

Mr. Suzuki, who majored in clarinet at Tokyo University of the Arts, was actively engaged in activities until just before his death, including publishing his own compositions on the official Office PAC website on October 4, 2022, and reporting on the production of a song composed by Mr. Suzuki and lyrics written by Ira Yuki.
