Animated film opens Friday, February 17, 2023! SPECIAL PRICE PACK of the manga "BLUE GIANT" books 1-4 available today!

A SPECIAL PRICE PACK containing the first four comics of "BLUE GIANT," which will be made into an anime movie, was released today, December 28, 2022 (Wednesday).

The original "BLUE GIANT" is a manga by Shinichi Ishizuka, the author of "Gaku," which was made into a live-action movie (starring Shun Oguri) in 2011. The story is about a boy who is fascinated by jazz and aspires to become the world's best jazz player. The story is filled with passion and excitement, and the overwhelming power of expression that makes the reader feel as if he or she can hear the music.

The series has been serialized in "Big Comic" (Shogakukan) since 2013, and won third place in the "Manga Grand Prize 2016" and the 62nd "Shogakukan Manga Award (General Category)". It also won the 20th "Grand Prize in the Manga Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival," creating a whirlwind of excitement, and it has been announced that it will be made into an animated film in 2022.

In commemoration of the February 17, 2023 nationwide release of the animated film "BLUE GIANT," a special price pack containing the first four volumes of the original "BLUE GIANT" comic book was released today, December 28 (Wed.).

This coming-of-age drama depicts the friendship and growth of Dai Miyamoto, a young man who aspires to become the world's best jazz player, and the first four books depict his high school days in Sendai, which are connected to the movie, making them a perfect preparation for the movie.
