TV anime "Urusei Yatsura" announces three new cast members including Ayayo Takagaki! The second cool PV and scene cuts from January 5, and the archives of the special program are also available!

The TV anime "Urusei Yatsura" has revealed three new cast members, the second cool PV, synopsis and scene cuts.

Rumiko Takahashi's "Urusei Yatsura" depicts a love comedy between Ataru Moroboshi (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya), the "most dangerous" high school student on earth, and Rum (CV: Sumire Uesaka), a "devil girl" who came down from space. A completely new four-cour anime adaptation will begin in October 2022.

The TV anime currently airing on Fuji Television's "Noitamina" and other channels will enter its second season on January 5, 2023 (Thursday). In a special New Year's program ( # ), Hiroshi Kamiya and Sumire Uesaka will play the roles of Aoi Yuki as Ten, Ayaho Takagaki as Ryunosuke, and Chiba Kimitsu as Ryunosuke's father.

The special program was held in the living room with tatami mats on which a Kagamimochi (mirror-shaped rice cake) was placed, and the new cast members were interviewed about their roles. Kamiya and Uesaka listened to the stories of each of the three cast members, including their joy at "finally being able to make an announcement," their secret stories about postrecording, and their memories of the first series and their thoughts on the new characters they will play in the new series.

In this issue, in addition to character visuals and cast comments, the synopsis and scene cuts for episode 12 are also introduced!

Q. What does "Urusei Yatsura" mean to you?
My mother loves Urusei Yatsura. So, the stories passed down from mother to son are legendary. I think it is a living legend in Japan, created before I was born and still loved by many people.

Q2: What attracts you to Ten, and what do you value and look forward to about playing this role?
Ten is a child with a lot of charm and shows us many different faces. The first direction I was given during postrecording was to be loud enough to make her cry, so I'm trying not to make her too cute by being drawn in by her appearance and gestures... (laughs) I want to play her in a cute and bustling manner.

A beautiful girl with a short cut who was raised by her father, who runs a beach teahouse, to be "a strong girl who will not be defeated by the sea. She is quick to fight and has a foul mouth.

Q. What does "Urusei Yatsura" mean to you, Ms. Takagaki?
It is a work that I have been familiar with since I was a child, and was close to me when my admiration for the world of anime and voice actors was growing.
I was introduced to Rumiko Takahashi's works through "Ranma 1/2," and I also fell in love with "Urusei Yatsura" before I knew it!
When I was a child, I was taken to a video rental shop once a week to rent anime and read manga, and I especially liked Ten-chan.
I also liked the theme songs and often played and sang the OP and ED albums at home!
I went to purikura (photo booth) where I could take pictures with Ram-chan, and I loved Urusei Yatsura goods such as pouches and bags when I was a student, and I still use some of them today.

Q2: What attracts you to Ryunosuke, what do you value in playing the role, and what are you looking forward to?
Ryunosuke was raised like a man as the heir to the Hamachaya family. He often battles with his father, so he is quick to get into fights and has strong arms, but he also has a naive, sincere, and pure side.
He is cooler than anyone else! But he also has a side that is naive, sincere, and pure.
I will give my all to the work with respect for the Ryunosuke I used to know and love!

Ryunosuke's father cv Chiba Chikui
He is the third generation of a traditional beach house. He is the third generation of the family to own a traditional beach house, and is always ready to start a fight with Ryunosuke.

QWhat does "Urusei Yatsura" mean to you?
It was like a battlefield where actors from different backgrounds worked together as one, and it was a very valuable work that allowed me to make new discoveries and experiment with intuitive acting every time I worked on it.

Q2: What attracts you to Ryunosuke's father, what do you value in playing his role, and what are you looking forward to?
If you accept Ryunosuke as a "girl," you have to accept that one day she will become someone else's wife and leave you. As a father, that is something I cannot allow to happen, and I absolutely must prevent it!
That is why I am raising and educating Ryunosuke as a "boy! With this in mind, I enjoy playing the role of Ryunosuke.

I am enjoying playing the role with these thoughts in my mind.

Ataru is annoyed to see his parents so happy to see Ram in his wedding dress. When he goes outside, he finds something with a tiger pattern buried in the mailbox. When he pulls it out, a small child comes out. The child was Lam's cousin Ten!

A date just for the two of them.
Ten falls in love with Sakura at first sight. Ten falls in love with Sakura at first sight and sends her a love letter based on Ataru's advice. Later, Ten arranges a date with Sakura, and starts the date at a shady place with Ataru and Ram following him.
