The synopsis and advance scene cuts for the first episode (episode 13) of the TV anime "Fictional Reasoning Season 2," which will begin airing on January 8 (Sun.), have been released.

The TV anime "Fictional Reasoning" (original story: Kyo Jouhei / Kodansha Taiga) starring Mamoru Miyano and Akari Kito was adapted into a TV anime in January 2020. It is a "romance x bizarre x mystery" story about Kotoko Iwanaga, a girl who solves the troubles of monsters every day, and Kuro Sakuragawa, a man she falls in love with at first sight and is feared by the monsters.

Season 2 will start airing on January 8, 2023 (Sun) from 25:05 on TOKYO MX and other stations. The synopsis of the first episode (episode 13), scene cuts, and comments from Kyo Jouhei, the original writer, and Chashiba Katase, who is in charge of the manga, have arrived.

#13 "The Name of the God
Kotoko receives a consultation about a "mysterious apparition" from a spirit tied to the ground in a certain apartment building. Kotoko hears mysterious noises coming from an empty room in the apartment, and a doll with four arms and an inhuman appearance is said to have fallen there.
In order to discover the true identity of the doll, Kotoko decides to go with Kuro to investigate... Kotoko, the god of wisdom, begins to deduce the truth in order to maintain order amongst the mysterious beings!

Finally, the second season of the series is about to begin. This time, I am also writing the original draft of the anime's original episode. I don't yet know the details of how it will turn out as an anime, including episodes that are already in the manga, so I am looking forward to the broadcast just as much as the fans are.

It was my job to think about how to turn the original novel into a manga, and I can't help but look forward to seeing those scenes and this scene visualized in the anime, with voice and sound! The first episode of the second season is an original anime episode! The script was written by Shirohira-sensei, and Katase did the original character design for the mob yokai and other characters. We hope you will watch it.
