Bookstore chain Yurindo Yodobashi AKIBA to close tomorrow, January 9

The bookstore chain Yurindo Yodobashi AKIBA will close tomorrow, January 9 (Monday, national holiday). The store is located on the 7th floor of the Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba electronics retail store.

Yurindo is a bookstore chain with about 40 stores in Kanagawa, Tokyo, and Chiba.

Yurindo Yodobashi AKIBA" was temporarily closed for renovation in February 2016, and was renovated on March 11 (Fri.) of the same year to include Yurindo Story Cafe (*Closed on December 4, 2022), a directly managed cafe, in addition to books, stationery and general merchandise.

The store will be closed on January 9, 2023 (national holiday) *Last day of operation of STORY CAFE

As noted in the announcement, Yubindo Story Cafe, a directly managed cafe, will close earlier on December 4, 2022 (Sun.), and a closing sale of stationery and general merchandise (*some items are excluded) is currently being held at the Story Cafe location and other locations. Yurindo Kinshicho Termina and Yurindo Atre Kameido are also in business nearby.

In addition, Tower Records Akihabara will close on January 3, 2023 (Tuesday), and Ogawa Ophthalmology will close on December 30, 2022 (Friday), marking the closing of stores on the 7th floor in rapid succession.
