Toei Co., Ltd. which released "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" and "ONE PIECE FILM RED," found that its box-office revenue for 2022 exceeded 32.5 billion yen.

Toei announced that the annual box-office revenue from January 1 to December 31, 2022 was 32,563,660,570 yen and the annual attendance was 23,646,555 people. It was far ahead of the previous record of 17,980,254,340 yen set in 2009.

The films released in 2022 are as follows: as of Tuesday, January 10, "ONE PIECE FILM RED" had grossed over 19 billion yen, while "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" had grossed 7.7 billion yen.
