The new smartphone title "Dragon Quest Champions" is a melee command battle RPG in which players aim to become true heroes by winning the "Brave Warrior Battle Tournament," a contest of wisdom and courage in which many adventurers and monsters are involved.

Players control a party of three and not only battle one-on-one against monsters and other parties, but also engage in three-way battles as more players enter the fray.

The game uses the command battle system familiar to players of the "Dragon Quest" series, making it easy for those who are not good at action and technical controls to enjoy the battles.

A long time ago...
A long time ago, a hero and his two companions defeated the Demon King's plot to rule the world.
Time passes. ......
In a world where peace reigns, the people are absorbed in the "Brave Men's Martial Arts Tournament," which was left behind by a hero of long ago.
A young man from a village sets out on a journey to participate in the tournament.
He has a secret word in his heart that his father told him when he was a child: "All heroic martial arts tournaments must be held in the name of valor.
Only the one who conquers all the heroic martial arts tournaments can become a true hero.
We must accomplish this by our own hands."

The hero
An adventurer who aspires to be a hero.
In order to track down his missing father, he decides to participate in a heroic combat tournament.

Hermia
A cheerful self-proclaimed manager who shares the hero's fate.
He is an old friend of Homit, the homicide slime.

He is not good at fighting on his own, but he is always there to give advice to the main character.

Two game modes

There are two main game modes in this title: "Story Mode," which can be played by a single player, and "Tournament Mode," which can be played by all players.

In Story Mode, players can develop their characters while playing alone. Players can enjoy an original storyline.

The "Tournament Mode" is a mode in which players can play with other players, and is one of the features of this title. Up to 50 players fight in real-time to be the last one standing.
Players can choose to fight fair or to break into other people's battles. The way you fight is up to you. Enjoy a different kind of battle from the story mode.
