Sports Day "Balls for Balls" & Ultra-realistic "Miniature Radio Booth" for Capsule Toys! Wacky Kaiyama's Latest Gashapon Exploration No. 72

The year 2023 has started in the blink of an eye! I have personal big news at the beginning of the year! A very valuable 20 yen vending machine with the logo of "Horiguchi Shokai," the predecessor of the Showa-era retro gacha maker "Cosmos," has joined my collection. I look at it every day and smile.

In the last issue, we announced the "Capsule Toy Award 2022," our annual year-end project. What did you think of the capsule toys selected? All of them were wonderful capsule toys, and many of them are expected to be selected as award nominees as soon as 2023. I am looking forward to the end of the year now!

And on my YouTube channel, I upload the latest capsule toy patrol videos every Saturday. This year, I will keep my antenna up, keep the information coming in, and keep the wheel turning to further improve the power of my channel. While we are enjoying our capsule toy life with a mixture of old and new, this lineup takes us back to the days of our youth! I'm going to review an item that is just like the Showa period.

Genuine ball-boxing balls - Bandai - 4 types, 200 yen

Artec, a manufacturer of educational materials for schools, has teamed up with Bandai to create Gashapon! The capsule toy is the "Tamanage," the classic competition at fields days throughout Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the main competition, and the capsule toy is a capsule of that "ball"! The balls make that distinctive crunching sound when they are dropped. And then, when you drop the ball, it makes that distinctive crunching sound! And when the ball is dropped, it makes that distinctive crunching sound! when the ball is dropped is also reproduced.

Not only the excitement of the field day, but also the feeling of "If only that one ball had been in the basket, we would have turned the tables ......! I was so frustrated because the ball didn't go in the basket! It brings back a variety of memories, from the sad ones, such as "I was totally unmotivated, so I let it go outside on purpose," to the cool ones, such as "I was so churlish. It is really a sinful item.

Don't think ...... if you only get one ball. If you are having a bad day and feeling discouraged, just look up and throw the ball. You will feel refreshed as the parabolic ball is thrown out in the blue spring of that day.

There are four types of balls in the lineup: white, red, yellow, and blue. The balls at the school had a purplish red color that had deteriorated over time, and the white balls had turned brownish, but the balls coming out of the capsule were bright primary colors! I am so horebore over this. The sewing is tight and the contents never pop out. The quality of the balls is guaranteed, as they are the official balls used in actual athletic events.

Red and white are the standard colors when it comes to ball carriers, but am I the only one who is thrilled to see the unfamiliar yellow and blue? If I carry it in my pocket and use it at an actual field day, will it be passed down as a school legend? I would like to give it a try.

This capsule toy seems to be selling quite well. I often want to buy school equipment, you know. I can understand why everyone wants one. There may be a possibility that the items used at school will be sold as capsule toys in the future. If you get one, you can easily go back in time! This is such an interesting toy.

All Night Nippon x Gacha Gacha no Mori - Miniature Radio Booth supervised by the Nippon Broadcasting System Technical Department - Toys Spirits - 4 types, 500 yen

Late-night radio programs that hooked me in my youth. Nippon Broadcasting System's "All Night Nippon" is a representative example! Popular personalities such as Tamori, Beat Takeshi, Tunnels, Uccchan Nanchan, Ninety-Nine, and many others would talk about things they couldn't talk about on TV, and we, the listeners, would press our faces against our pillows to stifle our laughter and listen so as not to wake our parents. I especially learned a lot from weekend personality Tsurumitsu Shofukutei, and as I lived in an area where the second part of the program was not broadcast after 27:00, I remember moving with the radio to a position with good sensitivity and listening with my ears straining to hear, through the storm of noise. It is funny that I am now a radio DJ for a living.

For me, this item I am introducing this time is a combination of two of my favorite things, "All Night Nippon" and "miniature radio broadcasting items," and I am very excited about it. I can recreate the All Night Nippon booth I've always dreamed of in my own home. Am I skipping a bit before the review?

The mini book says "supervised by the Nippon Broadcasting System Engineering Department. The voltage has already broken through the limit with the authentic-looking miniatures! Let's take a break and then go to the review: .......

Let's go to "All Night Nippon" by Toys Spirits! (Â The OP theme "Bittersweet Samba" begins to play.)

    Studio Mike.

The microphones in Studio 2 and 3 are faithfully reproduced. The personalities were always seen with these microphones in the pictures. Many DJs would have carried their voices and souls on them. It is an inorganic silver microphone with a cool stand! The gimmick of being able to bend it to a position where you can speak more easily is also nice. The mic cover is also removable for such a small size! No~....... Once again, I exclaim! This time, "Wacky Kaiyama's All Night Nippon"!

Digital clock in the studio

This one is also inorganic and cool! It's also cool to the touch. There's a digital display part? There is a switch in the back! Now, turn it on! A blurry, glowing red digital number appears. The time shown is 25:00:03, the start time of All Night Nippon!

Nippon Broadcasting System custom-made cuff

I think cuffs are equipment only used in the radio industry. I never thought I'd see the day when I could introduce it in this way!

The cuff is an important piece of equipment that holds the key to broadcasting and can be called an engine switch in a large ship. When you are in charge of it, you are a full-fledged personality. So as not to be overwhelmed by such a big role, I immediately started practicing. If you press the talk-back (BT) button and move the handle down, "OFF" will light up. If you move the handle up, "ON" will light up and the live broadcast will start! The slight resistance of the handle is pleasant. The authenticity of this product made us say, "Oops!

Panel in front of the microphone and tabletop plate

A plate with the Nippon Broadcasting System logo placed in front of the personality. It is printed on both sides. And with a panel at the rear of the personality. When assembled, it measures 7.5 cm (H) x 8.7 cm (W). It would be so exciting to put a figure of your favorite character as your alter ego and take a picture of it!

I was so intoxicated by this wonderful capsule toy that made my youthful dreams come true. Oh, and I'm also a part of a program called "Majifura" that airs every Friday on FM Yamagata, where I, Wacky Kaizan, broadcast live for three hours. There is also a corner introducing capsule toys! You can listen in from all over Japan via radiko. You can also listen to my soulful be-syara on radiko.
