A machine born to win, the Lancia Stratos that reigned over the rally world in the 1970s.
The World Rally Championship (WRC) began in 1973 as a world rally championship.
The Lancia Stratos was a genuine "purpose-built machine" developed to win in this rally competition.
Despite its beautiful Bertone-designed form, the beastly performance of the Ferrari Dino V6 engine dominated every rally course in the pioneering 1970s WRC. Lancia won the Manufacturers' title for three consecutive years from 1974 to 1976.
The Lancia Stratos, a masterpiece of rally cars with a magnificent legend, is now back!
The Stratos HF with number 10, the winner of the 1976 Monte Carlo round, has been thoroughly recreated!
The model for this series is the Stratos HF with registration number "TO M54374", driven by Sandro Munari.
The details of the opening round of 1973, Rallye Monte Carlo, in Alitalia colors with the number 10 number, have been precisely reproduced. From the front and rear hatch opening and closing mechanisms, removable light pod covers, wheels and tires, realistic cockpit, and of course the mid-ship mounted Dino V6 engine, you can enjoy the essence of this rare masterpiece rally car.
