Sumikko Gurashi" was appointed as a "Toyama Prefecture Police Kizuna Ambassador" and an award ceremony was held for the "Special Fraud Victim Zero District Campaign".

The Toyama Prefecture Safe Community Development Promotion Headquarters (headed by the Governor of Toyama Prefecture) sponsored the "Special Fraud Victim Zero District Campaign" for five months from August 1 to December 31, 2022, with the participation of 141 safe community development promotion centers in Toyama Prefecture.

As 132 districts achieved "zero victimization" during the period, an award was presented to one district on February 3, 2023 as a representative of the 132 districts.

As a new initiative to prevent damage from special fraud, "Sumikko Gurashi," who has been appointed as a Toyama Prefectural Police Kizuna Ambassador, was represented by "Shirokuma," a representative of the "Sumikko Gurashi" group. Shirokuma also attended the "Special Fraud Eradication Bean-throwing Ceremony" with nursery school children.

Sumikko Gurashi will continue to serve as "Kizuna Ambassadors" in the future.
