Junya Enoki, Taku Yashiro, and Ayane Sakura were chosen as the main cast of the TV anime "Megumi no Daigo: Salvation Orange"! Broadcast on Yomiuri TV and NTV nationwide network

The main cast of the TV anime "Megumi no Daigo: Orange for the Kingdom of Salvation," which will be broadcast on the Yomiuri and Nippon Television networks nationwide, has been announced.

The main character is Daigo Asahina, a rookie firefighter. "Megumi no Daigo" won the Excellence Award in the Manga Division at the 2nd Japan Media Arts Festival and has also been dramatized. The current work, "Daigo of Megumi: Orange of Salvation," is a sequel to "Megumi no Daigo" and is currently serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine.

The TV anime "Megumi no Daigo: Orange of Salvation" will begin airing in the fall of 2023 on Yomiuri and Nippon Television networks nationwide. It depicts a story of three young firefighters who compete with each other to become "Special Rescue Team" a.k.a. "Orange", an elite unit within the firefighting organization, and grow up to save people from the brink of death.

The "hot" cast has now been selected to play the roles of these young firefighters, who are both friends and rivals.

Junya Enoki will play the role of Daigo Juju, a man of few words but with more passion than anyone else, who shows intense self-sacrifice for the sake of rescue. Taku Yashiro plays the role of the straightforward and friendly Shun Axuda, who has a rivalry with Daigo, a classmate at the firefighting academy. Ayane Sakura plays the role of Yukiyuki Nakamura, who is one of the few female members of the Special Rescue Team and is single-mindedly devoted to rescue work.

Overcoming the grueling training at the fire academy, Daigo, Shun and Yuki face the reality of fire and disaster scenes where they literally risk their lives to save lives. The stifling tension and passionate desire to confront the situation - the three characters are brought to life by a cast that is currently at the height of their powers, while maintaining the breathtaking reality of the original story.

I am ashamed to admit that I learned about the minute-by-minute battle to the death that goes on beyond the sirens, the effort and suffering that goes into getting there, and the fact that female firefighters exist... all through this work.
I want people like me to know more about this work. I will do my best as a voice actor.
I am very much looking forward to seeing how the harshness of the work site is portrayed in the animation, along with the characters' human characters and their growth.
