Voice actor Doji Kike passed away on February 5, 2023, it was announced on the official website of the Haikyo.

According to an announcement signed by Koji Asada, President of Tokyo Actors' Co-op, Doji Kike (real name: Doji Horiuchi) passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was 87 years old.

According to the wishes of the bereaved family, a wake funeral service was held only for the next of kin, and no farewell party is planned.

Mr. Takaya had been playing the role of Tarao Fuguda, Tara-chan of "Sazae-san" for 54 years since 1969. He had also played popular characters from the dawn of anime such as Hajime-chan of "Tensai Bakabon" and Akubi of "Haxon Daimaou," and recently he played Monomi of "Danganronpa" series. In recent years, she played Monomi in the "Danganronpa" series.

According to reports, Kike's last appearance will be in "Sazae-san: Hinamatsuri 1-hour SP" to be broadcast on Sunday, February 26. His successor as Tara-chan has not yet been decided.
