Family restaurant "Jonathan Akihabara Ekimae Store" has been in operation since Tuesday, February 7 (grand opening will be at 6:30 on Thursday, February 9). The location is near the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara Station. It is located on the second floor of JR East Hotel Mets Akihabara, on the former site of Japan Kitchen AKIBA, a community restaurant that serves fresh produce.

Jonathan is a family restaurant chain of the Sukairaku Group. Jonathan Tsumagoizaka was open in Akihabara area until December 11, 2020, and now it is back in Akihabara area after 2 years and 2 months.

According to the Jonathan Akihabara Ekimae Store flyer (with a special coupon), the store features "a new Jonathan with a comfortable and relaxing space" and "a calm and relaxing space ideal for remote work.

Orders are placed via a tablet, and in some cases, the ordered food is delivered by a "cat robot," with instructions for this on the seat. For payment, both manned cash registers and unmanned cashless self-checkout machines are available.



In addition, the restaurant is open for lunch from 10:30 to 17:00 on weekdays (Monday through Friday), and offers a "daily lunch (limited quantity)" as well as a special set price for all items on the grand menu.
