Takayuki Furukawa will sing the theme song for the 47th episode of the Super Sentai series, "Ousama Sentai King Oger"! The theme song CD will be released on 4/5(Wed.)!

Takayuki Furukawa will sing the OP theme for "Ousama Sentai King Oger," the 47th episode of the Super Sentai series, scheduled to begin airing on TV Asahi from March 5, 2023 (Sunday) at 9:30 AM every Sunday.

The new program "Ousama Sentai King Auger" (to be broadcast on TV Asahi from March 5, 2023, on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.) will be the 47th in the Super Sentai series and will feature the first ever combination of [five kings x insect robots]. For the first time in the Super Sentai series, the name of the program is also the name of the combined robot, and an epic storyline is developed with five king heroes and an insect-motif combined robot.

It has been announced that Takayuki Furukawa will sing the OP theme for "King Ojya".

Mr. Furukawa is the vocalist and guitarist of "THE PINBALLS," a four-piece garage rock band formed in 2006, which made its major debut in 2017 with "NUMBER SEVEN" after releasing six independent albums. He took a break and formed "MARSBERG SUBWAY SYSTEM" in 2022.

He participated as a solo artist in the opening song "Zenryoku King" of the 47th "Ousama Sentai King Oger". This is the first time for him to participate in a song for a Super Sentai series, and he also wrote the poem for this song. This is the first time in the history of the Super Sentai series that a singer has written the opening theme song.

He also composed and arranged the music for "Knight Dragon Sentai Ryuso Jar" OP "Knight Dragon Sentai Ryuso Jar" and "Kikai Sentai Zencai Jar" OP "Zenryoku Zenkai! Kentaro Sonoda, who also composed "Knight Dragon Sentai Ryuso Jar" OP and "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR" OP.

The theme song CD containing this song will be released on April 5, 2023 (Wednesday). Details of the other songs on the CD will be announced in the near future.
