amazarashi releases "Antinomy" music video using footage from the winter anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a"!

amazarashi has released a music video for the ED theme "Antinomy" consisting of footage from the winter anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a.

Released by Square Enix in 2017, the action RPG "NieR:Automata" has sold more than 7 million units worldwide in total shipments and DL sales. The TV anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" will start airing on January 7, 2023 (Sat) on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV, etc.

Today, the music video of the ending song "Antinomy" written by Hiromu Akita of amazarashi was released. It is a spectacular one, using anime footage from "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" throughout.

In addition, to celebrate the release of the single, a video of Hiromu Akita playing "Antinomy" will be premiered for one hour from 9:00 p.m. on the 22nd, the day of the single's release.

The collaboration between amazarashi and "NieR" began in 2017 with "Life Worthy" when "NieR: Automata" was released. The current work, "Hypothetical Puppet Show Antinomy," a puppet show that is a spin-off story of NieR, planned and produced by the director of the "NieR" series, Taro Yokoo, has already been released and is attracting a lot of attention.

The band is led by Hiromu Akita, who lives in Aomori Prefecture.
The band's name comes from the idea that the sadness and suffering that befalls us in our daily lives can be compared to rain, and although we are exposed to rain, we are "still" exposed to rain.
