Gran Turismo 7" features new cars and "Drift Stage" such as "Italdesign Exeneo Vision"! Also compatible with PS VR2

An update is now available for Gran Turismo 7 on PS5/PS4, including new car models and PS VR2 support.

Gran Turismo 7 (GT7) was released in March 2022. It is a realistic driving simulator that incorporates all the elements that fans of the series have come to expect, and is designed to convey its deep culture and appeal even to players with no knowledge of cars or driving.


The new office of Polyphony Digital, the developer of Gran Turismo, has been fully revealed! Report on the 25th Anniversary Studio Tour of the "Gran Turismo" series, which included a presentation by Mr. Yamauchi, the creator of the game.

The update, which was released on February 21 (Tue.) at 3:00 p.m., adds new cars with a lot of personality and charm, such as the Citroen DS 21 Pallas '70 and the Italdesign Exeneo Vision Gran Turismo Street Mode, as well as new courses and scopes features such as the Drift Stage.

In addition, the PS5 version adds a PS VR2 compatible mode, and all features can be enjoyed from the day of the PS VR2 launch on Wednesday, February 22, except for offline 2-player matches.

Grand Valley has been renewed! Drift Stage" is now available!


New course layout "Grand Valley Highway 1
Gran Valley, one of the most famous technical courses in the Gran Turismo series, has been completely redesigned and revived with a new look.

The long layout named "Highway 1" is a challenging course that combines a high-speed section where drivers race at full throttle and a technical section with a series of tight turns. The short layout "South," which is about 2,000 meters shorter in length, is a thrilling course with a series of small blind corners in addition to severe ups and downs.

The dynamic location of the coastline, with its vast ocean, mountains, huge bridges and tunnels, makes for an exhilarating driving experience reminiscent of a winding road.

Compatible with PlayStation VR2!


Gran Turismo 7 for PS5 will be fully compatible with PS VR2 with the February 2023 update (1.29). Almost all races and various game modes, including online races, can be played with an overwhelming sense of realism.
In addition, the "VR Showroom," which can be selected when PS VR2 is connected, allows users to enjoy ultra high-definition car models in various locations with lighting.




PS VR2's next-generation features are also fully utilized and optimized HDR tone mapping is employed. Foveated rendering with eye tracking functionality, as well as support for 3D audio that expresses space through sound, have enabled a higher dimension and more immersive gameplay.


Foveated rendering: A technology that renders the central area of the player's field of view in higher resolution and the outer area of the player's field of view in lower resolution.
