Yuzuru Hanyu, who has been attracting attention for his successful Tokyo Dome performance "GIFT" and further success, and CLAMP, a creative writing group active worldwide, have decided to collaborate on a picture book "GIFT" to be released by Kodansha this fall.

The dream collaboration began with a request from Mr. Hanyu to CLAMP to draw a picture book. Both artists respect each other as artists who are active on the world stage. Hanyu's own writings, which tell the story of his life, reveal a new talent that is different from that of skating. CLAMP illustrated the text to create a picture book.

The story "GIFT" will take on a new form as a picture book following the performance, a special present from Yuzuru Hanyu and CLAMP to their fans around the world, the picture book "GIFT.

This miraculous collaboration has already been eagerly awaited and anticipated by fans around the world, and the release of a translated version for overseas audiences is being considered in the future.

The two companies will continue to expand their activities in the future.

Yuzuru Hanyu Profile
Born in Miyagi, Japan, Yuzuru Hanyu competed in the 2014 Sochi Olympics, where he won the first Japanese gold medal in men's single figure skating, and the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, where he won gold again, marking his second consecutive Olympic gold medal. He is currently active as a professional skater.

CLAMP Profile
He made his debut in a commercial magazine in 1989 with "Seiden - RG VEDA-" in "South" No. 3 (Shinshokan). A creative group consisting of four women: Sangetsu Igarashi, Nanase Okawa, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Mokona. Their works are very popular overseas and have been published in more than 20 countries around the world. Representative works include "Tokyo Babylon," "X," "Magic Knight Rayearth," "Tsubasa-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE-," and "xxxHOLiC. Currently, "Card Captor Sakura: Clear Card Arc" is serialized in "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha).
