millennium parade × Sheena Ringo sings the theme song for the spring anime "Jigokuraku"! PV with OP theme and comments are released!

millennium parade × Sheena Ringo have been chosen as the theme song artists for the TV anime "Jigokuraku" which will start airing in April. Comments and a new PV have been released.

Based on the popular manga series by Yuji Kaku, which was serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (13 volumes), "Jigokuraku" is an inspiring story about a powerful ninja who is sentenced to death. Sentenced to death, the most powerful Shinobi, Gebaimaru, and other "sinners" fight together with the "executioner of beheadings" who watches over them, in order to return alive from an island infested with unknown creatures.

The animation is produced by MAPPA and will begin airing on April 1, 2023 (Sat) at 23:00 on TV Tokyo and other networks, and will be distributed every Saturday on Prime Video, NETFLIX, and Hikari TV.

The theme song artist is millennium parade x Sheena Ringo! New PV and comments released!

It has been decided that the theme song will be "W●RK" by millennium parade x Sheena Ringo, the first collaboration between millennium parade led by Daiki Tsuneda and Sheena Ringo. Mr. Tsuneda composed the music and both Mr. Shiina and Ms. Tsuneda wrote the lyrics, which were written after actually reading "Jigokuraku.

The comments from both of them and the second PV of the anime are also available. The opening theme song, "W●RK", shows the characters fighting a severe battle for life and death.

Actually, I started working with Ms. Ringo on a song back in 2019, but we didn't release it to the world (it was a different song from the theme song for this project). I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for the two of us, so I invited Ringo to join us again and we decided to write a new song. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! I am looking forward to hearing it.

Pre-reservations for the advance screening started today!

＜Synopsis
The time is the end of the Edo period.
Gebaimaru, the former strongest Shinobi in Ishikakure, who was captured as a loose Ninja and became a mortal criminal, is sent to an island rumored to be a paradise,
He is told that he will be exonerated if he brings back "the elixir of immortality" from an island that is rumored to be the paradise of the dead.
