Anime "Valkyrie of the End II" to be broadcast on TV from April 14! Introducing new characters including Soji Okita (CV: Tsubasa Dainaga) and Suluze (CV: Akira Miki) and cast comments!

The anime "Valkyrie of the End II," currently being distributed on Netflix, will be broadcast on TV starting Friday, April 14. New character and cast comments and celebratory illustrations have been released.

The original work (drawing ︓Ajichika, original ︓Shinya Umemura, composition ︓Takumi Fukui) started serialization in "Monthly Comic Zenon" in 2017. It depicts a tie-match between a representative of God vs. a representative of mankind, and was adapted into an anime in June 2021. The animation production is handled by Graphinica, which has depicted numerous "fierce battles" in 3DCG for "Promea" and "Girls und Panzer".

It has been decided that the first part of "Valkyrie of the End II" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11 from April 14, 2023.

The new key visual depicts the representative fighters of both the god side and the human side in "Valkyrie the Valkyrie of the End II" facing each other. From left to right, Hercules/Shiva/Leifuku, and from right to left, Jack the Ripper/Raiden Tameemon/Shaka, it looks as if a battle is about to break out.

In addition to standing drawings and cast comments of new characters Zerofuku (CV: Ayumi Murase), Soji Okita (CV: Tsubasa Dainaga), Isamu Kondo (CV: Wataru Takagi), Fleck (CV: Honoka Inoue), and Suluz (CV: Akira Miki), illustrations and staff comments commemorating the upcoming TV broadcast have also arrived.

Zerofuku (CV: Ayumi Murase)
A legendary wicked god who is a combination of the seven gods of good fortune. It is said that when he descends, he "causes the heavens to cease, the blessings to vanish, and great misfortune to befall the world.

Okita Soji (CV: Tsubasa Shironaga)
He is the leader of the Shinsengumi's first squad and the strongest swordsman in the final days of the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Q1: What was your impression of this work?
It's very interesting, hot, moving, and makes you want to read the rest of the story as soon as possible.
I was also very interested in how the human side fights against the god side. I was overwhelmed to see how strong both sides can become when they stand up for their beliefs.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
Okita-kun has a devilish side that comes out when he is itching to fight a strong opponent, and a cute side like a boy who is excited to fight.
He is indeed the leader of the Shinsengumi's first squad.
In playing the role, I was conscious of the gap between his cuteness and the moment when the devil comes out.
I was also conscious of making Okita-kun look like his age.

Wataru Takagi (Isamu Kondo)
Q1: What was your impression of this work?
I have been playing the role of Zeus since the first season, and I enjoy watching the unique actors playing the fierce characters who appear one after another at the recording sessions, just like Zeus himself.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
I enjoyed playing Zeus, and as I played the role of Isamu Kondo in the anime "Chiruran: Nibun no Ichi," which is also based on the original story by Shinya Umemura,
I was wondering if the cast would be changed, but I was both nervous and pleased to be asked to play the role of Isamu Kondo as is.

Honoka Inoue (Fleck)
Q1: What is your impression of this film?
The grueling and powerful battles are too awesome! And I don't want either God or mankind to lose! I thought, "I don't want either God or mankind to lose.
The characters' muscles are so muscular and cool, so I paid attention to that as well.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
I felt sorry for such a cute girl that I had to force her to play Wernd! I thought it was a pity to force such a cute little girl to become Velundo, but what she said to Jack the Ripper after the battle was so cute!

Akira Miki (Suluze)

God vs. mankind. I thought it was overwhelmingly God! I am thrilled by the growing heat of the battle, not knowing who will win each and every battle. ......
