A Blu-ray commemorating the 60th anniversary of the broadcast of the animation "Eight-Man" will be released on May 26, 2023 (Friday), and pre-orders began today, March 1 (Wednesday).

The Blu-ray release commemorates the 60th anniversary of the broadcast of "Eightman," which was born in the dawn of animation and is considered the original super robot hero.

The script by famous writers such as Kazumasa Hirai, Ryo Hanmura, Aritsune Toyoda, and Masaki Katsura (Masaki Tsuji), as well as the original author Kazumasa Hirai, incorporates a wealth of science fiction ideas in a tense storyline. The original manga and character design by Jiro Kuwata, whose sharp lines and modern taste made the anime "Eight-Man" very popular, are now available in high-definition Blu-ray format.

The special features include the "Sono-Sheet Book," a booklet that came with the "Sono-Sheet" record that contained the soundtrack of Eightman's scenario, etc., and the "Eightman Sticker," which came as an extra with Marumiya's "Noritama" furikake (sprinkled seasoning) and became very popular.
