A total of 114 people, from young, mid-career to veteran, entered this year's voting. The ranking was hotly contested from start to finish, and Kaolip won the female voice actress voting project for the winter 2023 anime.
Kaolip played the main character, RYOKO, in "Aggressive RYOKO," which finally reached its finale in its fifth season. As those who have been following the series know, she was pressured by a power-harassing boss, annoyed by a strong-acting coworker and boyfriend, and somehow became popular as an underground idol (......). She survived the rough and tumble of modern society, but did so at her own strong pace. She was the only one who could voice RYOKO! She is the only one who can do it!
If you have not seen the film yet, please take this opportunity to watch it and let Kaolip's voice soothe you. The result is very promising for her future career.

And in second place was "Tomo-chan is a Girl!" by Sally Amagi, who plays the role of Carol Allston. Carol, played by Ms. Amagi, who is also a member of the digital voice actress idol group 22/7, is truly a devilish heroine. Her cute voice and her natural tongue-in-cheek acting make quite an impact. Her slightly faltering way of speaking is quite addictive!
Incidentally, Ms. Amagi is a returnee from abroad, and she also played Carol in the overseas version of "Tomo-chan ha joko! She also plays Carol in the overseas version of "Tomo is a Girl!

In third place is Hina Kino. She has always had a reputation for playing small animals and childish characters, and "Buddy Daddies" Miri UMISAKA is a character that in a sense makes the most of her strengths.
Miri's voice - especially her laughter and cheers - is very realistic, even when she is performing unpredictable actions! She gives off a realistic impression of a little girl, and the character has a tremendous sense of realism. The character of a hateful but deadly cute girl is beautifully expressed.

The top three are the three who expressed the character's individuality perfectly. It was difficult to choose one over the other.

Fourth place went to Rie Kugimiya for Satou Kotarou of "Kotarou Lives Alone. Speaking of boy characters, Ms. Kugimiya excels in this category as well as tsundere heroines. Kotarou has a mature language and personality, but many viewers were impressed by the exquisite nuance of his expression, which evokes a hint of darkness in his heart. He showed the kind of sidestepping that only a seasoned veteran can pull off.

Fifth place went to Miki Ito, who plays Grete in "Spy Classroom. She gave an elegant performance as the quiet and intelligent Grete. Her dignified voice matched the character perfectly! She plays one of the heroines beautifully.

In sixth place is Yuzuka Nukui, who plays Anne Halford, the heroine of "Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. Her voice has always been impressive for her heroine-like sprightliness, but in this work, she shows off her charm as the heroine of a royal fantasy without regret. She gives a good performance as a heroine whom everyone wants to root for and watch over.

Ayasa Ito, who came in seventh, is also one to watch this season. She gives a life-size performance as Michi Sonoda, a high school girl who enjoys judo. Ito's cheerful personality seems to be in sync with the character in many scenes, which is sure to please her fans.

Eighth place went to Rie Suegara, who played Tomie in Junji Ito's "Maniac" [Tomie, photo]. Ms. Suegara has been playing the role of Tomie, a heroine of the horror world, for many years, and her performance was again stable.

Ruriko Noguchi, who ranked ninth, continued her performance from the first season as Sally, "I don't want to be in pain, so I'm going to focus on my defense. 2. She continues to play the role of Sally in the first season, this time as a comedian (?) and partner to Maple. She is also a good commentator (?) and partner to Maple.

Coming in at No. 10 is Rena Ueda, who played Gigi Andalusia in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Senko no Hathaway TV Edition" and Yui in "Mono no Gatari. Both characters are attractive because of the gap between the seemingly unfathomable atmosphere of the characters and their true selves, which suddenly appears at a moment's notice. Her performance in expressing this gap is brilliant!

The results of the voting have given the winter anime season, which is now entering its climax, a boost, don't you think?
