According to the announcement on the official website, " At 4:14 in the early morning of March 22, Dan Tokiro (age 74) passed away.

Dan Tokiro continued to work energetically despite receiving a diagnosis of lung cancer in the summer of 2017, but his condition deteriorated at the end of last year. He was regretted, but he ran out of energy.
The funeral service will be held only for his next of kin.

Danjiro
made his debut in 1968 in a Shiseido MG5 commercial, and gained popularity in 1971 when he played Hideki Goh, the main character in the TV program "The Ultraman Who Came Back. Since then, he has made several guest appearances as the same character in the "Ultraman" series. He has also appeared in many tokusatsu productions over the years, including "Super Robot Mach Baron," "Nebula Masked Masked Man," Toei's mysterious comedy series "Robot 8-chan" and "Beautiful Masked Poitrine," and the Super Sentai series "Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger" and "Knight Dragon Sentai Ryusoujer.
