The original story is serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine R" by Gosei Furukawa. The main character becomes "Pochita," a dog owned by a beautiful girl in his class, Inukai, and becomes a dog in body and soul as he is trained to go for walks, go to the bathroom, and ....... The Blu-ray of TV anime "I became a dog and was picked up by the person I love. will be released on Blu-ray on March 29, 2023 (Wed) for the first volume and on April 26, 2023 (Wed) for the second volume. The limited first edition will include the "Wonderful Version" without any restrictions.

Pochita and Mr. Inukai go out on a date at the school festival during a break at the dog cafe. What stands in their way is Tsukishiro in a bunny-girl outfit.
Mr. Inukai chose a haunted house as the location for the battle for Pochita, which suddenly started.
While Tsukishiro was scared, Inukai-san managed to suppress his fear. The two, who have lost their composure, are unable to notice Tsukishiro's unbelievable appearance....

On March 27 (Monday), a special live commentary by the main cast was held on Nico Nico Live to commemorate the Blu-ray release of this work, which was very exciting.
