New "Street Fighter" live-action film to be produced! Street Fighter 6" will be released in June 2023!

Capcom has announced the production of a new "Street Fighter" live-action film.

Capcom's "Street Fighter" series is a milestone in the history of fighting games. 1992's "Street Fighter II" for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) was a mega-hit, selling 6.3 million copies worldwide, and the series has sold over 49 million copies (as of April 5, 2023).

On June 2, 2023, "Street Fighter 6" is scheduled for release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. This is a new addition to the history of a series that continues to evolve with innovative design and gameplay.

Capcom has announced that it will produce a live-action movie and TV series based on the "Street Fighter" franchise in collaboration with Legendary Entertainment.

Legendary has produced many hit movies based on video games, including "Godzilla vs. Kong" and "Pikachu: Detective Pikachu," which have also attracted worldwide attention. The live-action film currently in production will also be produced by Legendary.
