The spring anime "[Mystery Child]" will begin airing today, Wednesday, April 12. The OP theme music video by YOASOBI, produced by Video Studio, will premiere today at 24:30.

Based on the popular manga by Akasa Akasaka of "Kaguya-sama ga Kesshirasai" and Mengo Yokoari of "Kuzu no Honkai," which is currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" and was voted No. 1 in the "Next Coming Manga Award 2021". It features Goro, an obstetrician/gynecologist, and depicts a mystery surrounding a secret held by his idol Ai, as well as the realities of the entertainment world.

YOASOBI has written the OP theme for the spring anime "[Mystery Idol]", and Ban Megumi plays the role of Kana Arima! Trailer and comments

The TV anime "[Mystery Child]" will start airing today, April 12 (Wed.) at 23:00 on TOKYO MX, ABEMA, and other stations with an extended 90-minute first episode.

The OP theme song is sung by YOASOBI, known for their debut song "Yoru ni Dashiru" and "Blessing", the OP theme of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Mercury Witch", etc. The powerful "call part" by REAL AKIBA BOYZ is also notable.


Today, the OP theme song "Idol" is available for download. In addition, a music video produced by Animation Studio will premiere on YouTube at 24:30.
