The box office results for the first three days of "Detective Conan: The Shadow of Black Iron", which opened on April 14 (Friday), have been announced.

Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine" was released in 505 theaters nationwide (including 41 IMAX theaters, 64 4DX theaters, 15 MX4D theaters, and 7 DOLBY CINEMA theaters) on April 14 (Friday).

It is the 26th Conan film produced by the strongest team in the series, featuring Kazuki Sawamura as a guest voice actor after a 13-year absence, the theme song by Spitz, their first collaboration in the series, music by Yugo Kanno as in the previous film, and directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, whose "Blue Giant" was a big hit as well. The film is the 26th in the "Detective Conan" feature film series.

Popular characters such as the triple-faced Toru Amuro (Rei Furuya, Bourbon) and FBI agent Shuichi Akai (Subaru Okiya) all appear in the film, and the story of the "Organization of the Black Hood" is the most closely approached in history.

In addition to the "world's fastest screening" that started at midnight at 18 theaters in 10 prefectures nationwide on the first day of its release, the following day, the 16th, Minami Takayama (Conan Edogawa), Wakana Yamazaki (Ran Mouri), Rikiya Koyama (Kogoro Mouri), Megumi Hayashibara (Ai Haibara), and guests Kazuki Sawamura as the character Yosuke Makino, and director Yuzuru Tachikawa took the stage to greet the audience.

Today, it was announced that "Detective Conan: The Fishhound of Black Iron" has made the No. 1 rocket start in the history of the series, drawing more than 2.17 million people and grossing more than 3.1 billion yen in its first three days.

The three-day box-office revenue was 164% of that of the blockbuster "Detective Conan: Bride of Halloween" (box-office revenue of 9.78 billion yen), which was released in 2022. The satisfaction rating of the film based on the opening day questionnaire was "very good" (82.4%) and "good" (15.6%), for a total of 98%, indicating that the film is expected to be an even bigger hit heading into the Golden Week holiday season.

＜Story
Pacific Buoy" is an offshore facility built in the waters around Hachijojima Island, Tokyo, to connect security cameras owned by police forces around the world.
In preparation for full-scale operation, engineers from around the world have gathered at the facility to connect it to the network under the jurisdiction of Europol, a European police organization. There, a test of a certain "new technology" based on a facial recognition system was also underway.
Meanwhile, Conan and the Detective Boys are on a whale-watching trip to Hachijojima at Sonoko's invitation.
Conan then receives a call from Subaru Okiya (Shuichi Akai) informing him that a Europol official has been murdered in Germany by Jin.
Conan, who is concerned about the situation, sneaks onto the security boat in which Hyoue Kuroda and other Metropolitan Police Department officials are on their way to guard the "Pacific Buoy" and infiltrates the facility. While the facility is being steadily prepared for the system's launch, a female engineer is kidnapped by a black-ops organization...!
